How a signal reads, one level at a time
Side
Each signal names a currency pair, a timeframe from M1 to H4 and a side, buy or sell. Currencies always trade in pairs, so the side tells you which of the pair you are backing.
Entry
The entry is the price to open the trade at. Set it as a pending order with your broker, or open manually when price gets there.
Take profit
The take profit closes the trade in gain at a set price, so you do not have to sit and watch the chart until it gets there.
Stop loss
The stop loss closes the trade at a set price when the market turns the other way, and caps what that one trade can cost you.
Placing the levels well
Place the stop loss in the same order as the entry.The trade is covered from its first second.
Add the stop loss once the trade is open.Price can skip past it.
Open the chart on the timeframe the signal names.The levels are sized for that chart.
Take an H4 signal on an M1 chart.Levels fit another timeframe.
Size each trade so hitting the stop loss is a loss you accept.One trade never decides your month.
Push the stop loss further away as price nears it.It only grows the loss.
